Brian Bristol is a licensed nurse practitioner, advanced practice provider, and owner of Ilera LLC, which provides management services for Van Nuys Urgent Care Family Medicine and Panorama Urgent Care Family Medicine. Brian has been practicing for more than 10 years and specializes in the management of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, congestive heart failure, kidney disease, hypertension, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Brian earned his Master’s in Nursing at Azusa Pacific University and completed his undergraduate nursing degree at the Los Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health. Over the past decade, he has provided care to patients with a range of issues in high-pressure settings including LA County/USC Medical Center and for large clinic systems including CareMore and HealthCare Partners.

Brian leads his team and treats his patients with compassion, positivity, and kindness. In the setting of large clinic systems, he discovered the challenges of the one-shoe-fits-all approach. This inspired him to go out on his own and develop neighborhood-focused clinics where he can focus on his patients’ total well-being, prescribe preventative care measures, and provide personalized treatments.

Brian is Board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
